Google Groups team launched a new beta version, Google groups got a new look, and there are a lot of great new features in this beta version.

New Features:

• Page Creation: You can create web pages, hosted within the group itself.
• Customization: Pictures, colors and styles can be used to give your group its own distinct look.
• File sharing: Just like yahoo groups, you can now upload and share files with others members of the group.
• Member profiles: You can learn more about the other members in your group. Each member of a group can create a profile, including a picture and quote.

You can use your Google Account to access all your groups on both the original Google Groups and the new beta version. Goto http://groups-beta.google.com to try the google groups beta.
