Pay for Cheat Codes

eagames logoAre you fond of Playing your games in GodMode ,unlocking levels by pressing — Up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start — on your favourite gaming console. Yeah i am talking about Cheat Codes.

Electronic Arts is moving away from the days of button pressing. Starting with Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007 on Xbox 360, they’ve officially started charging for the ability to unlock hidden content.

  • Unlock Golfer - 200 points
  • Pro Shop - 300 points
  • Sunday Tiger - 240 points
  • Unlock Courses - 200 points

Its weird and absolutely a bad news for gamers like me who are fond of using cheat codes. :(
But still if they want to sell cheatcodes, there is always a way out. With PC versions we can still play invincible with game trainers and unlock the levels with saved game files.

Ok, now the idea of paying for additional game content has been taken to a ridiculous level.

Cheat codes orginated from developers adding them into games so the testers could work easier. Once the game was released, a tester would leak the code to the public.

Often, I only continue to play a game if I can cheat. Because once you get bored with a game, cheating can make it interesting again.

“007 373 5963″ code for Mike Tyson in Punch out.

I totally agree, cheat codes make boring games interesting once again.
