WebSnapr - Website Thumbnails On The Fly

websnapr-logoWebSnapr is a Web 2.0 service that lets you creates a thumbnail image of any Web page. Also you can Let your visitors to instantly visualize any web page before clicking.

There’s no software to install; just paste the WebSnapr URL [http://images.websnapr.com/?url=MYURL] into your browser, substituting your desired site at the end (where it says MYURL).

Websnapr also provide some other scripts and tools, that you can use to implement Websnapr on your website.

1. Preview Bubble - It is a simple, unobtrusive script used to display an overlay bubble showing a hyperlink target thumbnail using WebSnapr.

2. WP-Websnapr Wordpress plugin - Automatically allows visitors to preview your post’s linked websites by using Websnapr’s service.

3. Snapr Wordpress plugin - Another WP plugin that integrates the WebSnapr service in your blog.

4. WebSnapr bookmarklet - A bookmark that once installed in your browser favorites will open up the current page in Websnapr and begin the thumbnail creation process.

Note: You may see “Thumbnail is in queue” message instead of generated image. The website has recently been lifehacked and dugg so thumbnail captures might take a couple of minutes.
