Also if your uploaded file on Rapidshare gets popular, you automatically qualify for a free premium rapidshare account which means no limit on file downloads or any waiting time.

Instructions for Rapidshare premium users to get free premium account on the new Rapidshare site:

1. Go to your Rapidshare.de premium account. Theres the date mentioned when your account will expire. Between brackets there’s a number. Copy/write down that number.

2. Goto http://rapidshare.com/cgi-bin/promo.cgi there you have to fill in that Rapidshare.de number that you just copied.

3. You get new loginlogname/number and pass. Put that in a safe place for future use.
