Google just launched a customized search service called Google Co-op that allows a user to create and launch a search engine with just a few specific websites included. Searches will return results from only that website.
With Google Co-op you can:-
- Place a search box and search results on your website.
- Specify or prioritize the sites you want to include in searches.
- Customize the look and feel to match your website.
- Invite your community to contribute to the search engine.
Google is also offering, as an option, to bundle the service with Google Adsense ads and share revenue with websites that embed the custom search engine into their site.
