Do you Backup your Blog Database ?

One of my internet friends Fuad lost his blog tech-scope. Tech-scope was very popular blog with thousands of hits daily.

So what went wrong ?? You can read his story here.

If you have your blog hosted on blogspot or wordpress.com then theres nothing to worry, but if you host your blog yourself then regularly backing up your blog database is very important.

BTW, you can take backup of your blogspot and wordpress.com blogs if you want. Follow the links below to know how.

    I have set my blog to automatically back it up and send the file to my Gmail address. Last night my friend lost his blog because his backup was download from FF (it got corrupted)

    thanks for your trackback lovedeep. i can’t believe my “lovely internet browser” did this to me..anyway, i still managed to save some valuable posts which you can still check at my new blog…thanks for your database backup tips.
