In Newyork, gamers lined up by the thousands early on Friday, aiming to be one of the first in the United States to buy Sony PS3, some people were robbed and shot at, some rioted inside Wal-Marts, each store only got a few systems.
A 21-year-old man was shot in the chest early Friday morning (November 17) in Putnam, Connecticut, as he stood in line with more than 20 other people waiting to purchase the PlayStation 3 video-game console on its first day of release.
In San Fransisco some people found “magic tickets” in the gift bags Sony gave to the first 100 people in line. The ticket meant that you get a free PS3–a $600 value–and some free games, as well.
