iMacros for Firefox

imacros-firefoxiMacros is a cool firefox extension which Automate your web browser and enable you to Record and replay repetitious work.

iMacros for Firefox relieves the repetition of checking on the same sites every day, remembering passwords and filling out web forms. Web professionals can use the add-on for functional and regression web testing of web applications or it can be useful for automating repetitive browser tasks in offices and work locations.

After installing the extension, you can easily record tasks by clicking the Record button in the extension sidebar. When you are done, just click Stop.

For Example:

  • Open Google
  • Hit Record Button in the sidebar.
  • Type something in Google Search Box.
  • Hit Enter
  • Hit Stop Button in iMacros Sidebar.

The next time you play the task, it will automatically open google url, type the search query and perform the search automatically.

You can play the tasks instantly or save them for playing later. You can also edit the tasks and save them as .iim files anywhere on your computer. You can load the files whenever you need them.
