Nintendo Wii has been launched.
The launch came two days after Sony’s PlayStation 3 hit the U.S. market, setting the stage for a three-way video game console showdown between the Wii, the PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360.
The console that includes the unique Nunchuk Wii Remote controller, and a collection of five different Wii Sports games in the package, is priced at $250, compared with the $600 premium PS3 and the $400 top-end Xbox 360.

In Newyork, gamers lined up by the thousands early on Friday, aiming to be one of the first in the United States to buy Sony PS3, some people were robbed and shot at, some rioted inside Wal-Marts, each store only got a few systems.
A 21-year-old man was shot in the chest early Friday morning (November 17) in Putnam, Connecticut, as he stood in line with more than 20 other people waiting to purchase the PlayStation 3 video-game console on its first day of release.
In San Fransisco some people found “magic tickets” in the gift bags Sony gave to the first 100 people in line. The ticket meant that you get a free PS3–a $600 value–and some free games, as well.

Many fabulous people are rolling out their Google Custom Search Engines to make money.
The best example is Googletorrents.com to search popular torrent websites all at once . Googletorrents recently got sold and shifted to diggtorrents.com.
Now somebody made www.vdoogle.com to search popular video websites. This one is a bit new and is slowly gaining popularity.
Both are Google Custom Search engines made with Google Co-op.
Eureka ! You can start your own Google Custom Search Engine and earn thousands without doing anything. You can link your adsense account with search engine and watch the dollars flowing into your adsense account.
You just need a domain + some reputed websites related to search engine subject which you want to searched via your engine.
The best thing is you need not worry about the new logo for your website, you can use tens of google like logo makers on the web.
I noticed that the following domain names are recently acquired or updated:-
Googlerecipes.com - 14-Nov-2006
Googledownloads.com - 06-Nov-2006
Googlelyrics.com - 06-Nov-2006
Googlegames.com - 30-Oct-2006
Googlefreeware.com - 24-Oct-2006
Googlecheats.com - 06-Nov-2006
Does that mean that we will soon see custom search engines on these domains??
I think building a Recipe search, Lyrics Search or Cheat Search with google coop is a great idea.
Don’t wait. If you have an idea, buy a catchy domain for your new search engine and head on to google.com/coop .

Recently The Mu Life Blog published The State of the Digg, a rant on duplicate story submissions on digg.
I think diggsters love duplicates. Here are some recent stories that first went unnoticed but duplicates made it to the main page.
Link 1 | Link 2 | Time Difference : 2 Hours
Link 1 | Link 2 | Time Difference: 7 Hours
Link 1 | Link 2 | Time Difference : 3 Days
There are many more, just take a famous article and search for its title in digg. Every third time you will find that the story that made to the main page is duplicate.
Many interesting stories go down the drain due to lack of diggs, Big problems is power users walking over smaller users by resubmitting the same stories from different sources. Top 100 Digg Users Control 56% of Digg’s HomePage so the same thing when posted by a top digg user often make it to the main page. Sometimes people just don’t digg stories because the don’t like the story title. In my opinion time should generally be the main consideration.
Escape.is has written an article on solving the Digg dupe dilemma :
Since Digg knows what stories I digg and who else diggs those stories, then Digg should be able to recommend to me stories I have not reviewed, but might like. “Stories you may digg”. That should at least cut down on the duplicates since the system would actively push stories I may digg to me for review.*
A more immediate solution is to allow each user to set a preference to allow him to filter out stories containing urls duplicate to stories he has seen (although that may require an impractical amount of computing power).

You can easily call shopping locations from within Google Maps, without having to lift a finger to dial, and for free.
How it Works:
Search for a business, like a hardware store, on Google Maps, and click the ‘call’ link next to its phone number. Then, enter your phone number and click ‘Connect For free.’ Google calls your phone number and automatically connects you to the hardware store.
Currently, the calling feature works if you live in the U.S. and are looking for a business located in the U.S.
