The Million Dollar Blog Post. An online charity program started by Gifter Organisation, where the visitors are asked to leave a comment on a blog post.
For each comment the Gifter Organisation is going to have someone donate $1 to charity. The more the comments, the more they will donate. Their target is to get 1 million comments on the post to make it million dollar blog post.
In the comment, the visitors have to write their wish for the world.
To raise funds to sponsor the wishes, they have another blog post where the donors can donate money to any non-profit fund raising organization.
The donors have to mention GIFTER.ORG in the notation of their donation. After that the donor has to leave a comment on the Sponsor A Wish post with link to screenshot of the donation receipt. The sponsor’s website will be linked back from the Sponsor a Wish page.
Although i was the first person to leave comment on the million dollar blog post, it never appeared because i posted a silly wish.
My wish was Send traffic to my blog , actually when i visited the website, i thought its some another web marketing gimmick. But later i found that its all for a good cause.
I request all webmasters to write about the Million Dollar Blog post on their websites and try to promote it on social networking websites. Also consider donating to help them reach their goal.
I don’t have credit card and only had few dollars in my paypal account so i donated $10 to wikimedia foundation. ![]()
Receipt:
Currently the Top donors are Andy Nulman who sponsored 1100 wishes and Project Ojibwe who sponsored 2500 wishes.

Hey there - I saw your comment that you donated $10 to wikimedia but the link didn’t work.
If you have a sample of your donation w/ Gifter.Org on it, I’ll get you added to the sponsor list.
