Paypal recently introduced the Beta of its Virtual Debit Card service.

You can use PayPal Virtual Debit Card when making online purchases anywhere MasterCard is accepted. PayPal Virtual Debit Card generates a virtual card number each time you make a transaction online so you don’t have to use your personal debit or credit card number.

To use the Virtual Debit Cards, you have install the VDC windows application. The program generates a one-time use throw away MasterCard number. The service is totally free, there is no charge to download or to use PayPal Virtual Debit Card and it will be accepted on any website that accepts MasterCard.

Paypal will offer this service to all users once it leaves beta.
