Techcrunch reports that PayPePost has acquired blog services company Performancing. The announcement about the acquisition will be made tomorrow.
The main purpose of the acquisition appears to be for PayPerPost to get access to the 28,000 Performancing users, most of whom are bloggers and potential customers of PayPerPost.
PayPerPost agreed not to acquire the Performancing for Firefox blog editor and the Performancing Partners ad network. Nick Wilson and the Performancing team will keep the FireFox blog editor plugin and Performancing Partners ad network and will start a new company.
PayPerPost will gain Performance Metrics, a free blog analysis service and Performancing Exchange, an online classifieds site for bloggers.
