Wordpress 2.1 codenamed Ella is finally out. It has been named after jazz vocalist Ella Fitzgerald. The new version includes hundreds of bug fixes (over 550) and many new features.

Upgradation is simple like always, replace everything except /wp-content and run /wp-admin/upgrade.php procedure.
I have not yet upgraded, I will first test all the plugins on localhost and only then i will decide if i should upgrade or not.
I have upgraded to Wordpress 2.1 after testing my favorite wordpress plugins on localhost. All of them worked.
