Google Maps now provides real-time traffic information for major roads and highway, the traffic details are available for more than 30 major U.S. cities.

If you’re in San Francisco, New York , Chicago, Dallas, or any of the other cities they now include, you can click on the traffic button to show current traffic speeds directly on the map.

The data is not yet available in Google Eath, but it is available on Google Maps Mobile version.

During Holi Festival, Yahoo Messenger service is offering free calls to India to its phone out service subscribers. Holi, known as the Festival of Colors, is an annual spring celebration that takes place in India.

Usual Yahoo! Messenger calling rates to India during the week of Holi will be reduced to 4.9¢ a minute. Even after Holi ends, they are introducing new lower rate of just 7.9¢ a minute on calls to India.

Yahoo! Messenger for Windows Vista with tabbed IM windows is coming soon. But in current version too there are several hidden built in features, which can be turned on with changes to the Windows registry settings.

Recently yahoo messenger blog revealed cool new registry hack to turn on tabs in Yahoo Messenger 8.1. The hack works only on Windows XP.

From the registry hack, WackyB developed WackyB-IMTab-Fix utility. You can run the utilitity in background to turn on Tabbed IM windows in Yahoo Messenger.

WackyB-IMTab-Fix solves all these problems:

• Enables tabbed IM windows when you start WackyB-IMTabFix
• Disables tabbed IM windows when you close
• New IM windows are displayed correctly
• Notification is given in window title when new message received
• Sound alert with new IM from hidden tab
• Changing tabs updates window title

Gadget Theft is free online gadget theft recovery system. It provides a software application to track missing USB gadgets.

Once you install the agent files are in the root of a USB mass storage devices, such as a USB flash drive, digital camera and iPods. If your USB item get lost or stolen, you have to goto the Gadget Theft site and flag the item as missing.

The next time the device is accessed it will attempt to contact gadget theft service and will provide critical forensic data regarding the system it is plugged into including:

• Public IP Address
• Location (Country, City, State & Zip)
• Username
• Computer Name
• Host name of ISP
• Internal network IP address
