Changing Hair Color in Photoshop.
In this tutorial we will learn how to replace color from a picture.
If you want to follow the tutorial with the same picture as I am using go here.
Ok first of all open the picture in Photoshop.
Go to File>Open (shortcut ctrl+O)
Create a new layer
Go to Layer>New>Layer (shortcut ctrl+shift+N)
Keep the default settings and press ok.
Take any color you want for the foreground color.
Tip: To select color click the foreground color icon and select any color you want.
Select layer 1 from the layers toolbar.
Take the brush tool. ![]()
With the brush tool selected right click on the picture and in the dialog box give these settings.

Tip: to increase the brush size press the ]} key on the key board.
To decrease the brush size press the [{ key on the keyboard.
Now with the brush tool selected color a portion of the hair on layer1.

Change the layer blending mode to color and the opacity to 15%.


Now paint with the brush tool all over the hair if you make a mistake you can undo your action. To paint in small parts make the brush size smaller.
To change the color to another color you can change it from the hue/saturation adjustment.
Go to Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation
(Shortcut ctrl+U)
Slide the hue slider till you get the desired color and select ok.
