I recently read the post on Wordpress.com Blog that they have added the support for OpenID.

That means wordpress.com users can now sign in to other sites on the Web using their WordPress.com account.

Now the bad news is that Wordpress is just another OpenID Provider but they won’t accept OpenID. We can use our WordPress.com blog address as an OpenID but we can’t log into WordPress.com with OpenID.

Now what i think is there are plenty of openID providers already, but what we need is more OpenID consumers. I already have 3 OpenIDs but there are not many places to use OpenID.
