Clean Options is new Wordpress plugin that lets you find orphaned options left out by inactive wordpress plugins and allows for their removal from the wordpress blog database.

The Clean Option plugin searches PHP files in your blog’s folders for getoption(’optionname’) and getsettings(’optionname’).
It finds orphaned options, that do not have any files that “get” their values. User can manually review and delete the orphaned options.
How to Use ?
1. Download the plugin.
2. Upload and Activate.
3. Goto Clean Option page under the Manage Tab.
4. Click the Search button to Search for Orphaned Options.
5. Manually Select the Options you want to Delete.
6. Review and Delete the Junk Options.
The plugin works with Wordpress 2.1 or higher. You can download it from here.
Note: Always keep a backup of your blog database before using this plugin.
