Outtasight is freeware windows application that allows you to hide any application window from your desktop. You can choose to hide applications completely, or to minimize them as icon to the system tray.

There are various shorcuts to quicky hide, unhide windows. A ,magic wand utility that let you hide windows simply by clicking them.

Also there is functionality to automatically hide application windows, all you have to do is to add the name of the executable that you want to automatically hide.
