Post to Twitter from the Firefox Addressbar

The twitterbar extension allows you to post to twitter directly from the firefox addressbar. A small unobtrusive grey icon sits to the right of your addressbar, clicking on it will post your tweet, hovering over the icon will tell you how many characters you have left.

The best part is that the extension automatically shortens long urls using tinyurl service and has the ability to automatically prefix the ‘Currently browsing’ text to url tweets.

You can download Twitterbar from here.

Nice one! The easiest way to post to twitter, I guess :)

This is nice, but I still think Twitter’s IM support feature (Twitting via Google Talk) is the best thing for quick n’ dirty Twitting.
