Wine-Doors 0.1 Released

Wine-Doors is an application designed for the Gnome desktop users to easily install many Windows programs under the the Linux operating system using Wine.

How to Install:

1. Install Wine.

2. Download Wine Doors 0.1 tarball.

3. Open a Terminal.

4. Enter these commands.

$ tar zxf wine-doors-0.1.tar.gz
$ ls
$ cd wine-doors-0.1/
$ python setup.py install

The first stable release of Wine-doors is capable of automatically installing and configuring lots of windows applications like Internet Explorer, Winamp 5, Quicktime, Windows Media Player.

Wine-Doors will soon provide web based user interface to users who want to contribute application packs.

    nice! will try it out. my picasa works a little slow though via wine.

    Interesting. Wine should be my favorite I am using Linux

    Seems like good option, worth trying.
