Many websites have inactivity time and if you remain inactive for a period of time you’re automatically logged out — for instance, Orkut sessions automatically time out after a few minutes, if you’re unable to return to your orkut session, you need to log in again.

Session Keeper is a Firefox extension that save you from the hassle of having to login again and again to Websites that have an inactivity timeout. The extension automatically pings the website at specified interval keeping your session alive.

    This is a useful extension, heard abt it, but never used. BTW for me Orkut sessions have not got expired even after keeping it for one day without any activity

    My Orkut session often expire automatically after few minutes. Thats why i installed this extension to keep orkut sessions alive for a long time.

    I am using latest version of Firefox.

    Just reply to the orkut scraps regularly to stop gettin logged off:p :p well thanks nice tip.

    This may not be useful with orkut, but certain sites do log me off after a few minutes and I think I’ll give this a shot.!

    Really useful !
    But it could be great to allow multiple session keeping…
