It all seems like everything should be seemless when it comes to the iPhone 2.0 ROM but to be quite frank, I have had nothing but problems with this. For starters, the overall sync process does not work as it should. Sometimes contacts don't get updated along with calendar entries. I'm not sure why this is but I do know that it happens. I have several clients that have gone out and picked up the new 3G iPhone v2.0. Some with Microsoft Exchange 2003, some with Microsoft Exchange 2007, and some with Microsoft Small Business Server 2003. All in which cannot quite get the whole sync process to work as if it did while running Windows Mobile 5.0, 6.0, and 6.1. Is there anybody out there that has had this work successfully and if so, what did you seem to experience along the way?

this is great new only for those who already have exchange. now that exchange for iPhone has been released it still has some shortcomings (u cant simultenaously manage personal and enterprise info)(no task synching) so as to jutsify setting up exchange to power an iPhone equipped workforce.

a much better alternative is to try exchange alternatives for the iPhone like HyperOffice which are inexpensive, uncomplicated and frankly offer you much more functionality than even exchange.
