Wireless and remote technology is certainly quite convenient these days, and it seems there is little that we can do without a remote or a wireless device. So the folks at Sharkoon are taking advantage of the general laziness of the human population and have developed a product that will satisfy your lazier days. This is a remote control that will actually start your computer for you. You know, in the odd event that you aren’t actually IN FRONT of your computer when you want to use it. The PC Jumpstart is an external power button for your computer, and will save your back some trouble from bending all the way to that far away floor to turn on your computer.
The remote comes with a six foot wired cable that has 2 USB ports to plug in to your computer. It also has a backlight should you decide to use this device in the darker hours of the day, yes, these folks have thought of every lazy moment you might just have. In fact, the button is big enough to place on the floor where you can simply press it with your foot to turn on the computer. The remote will be directly connected to your mainboard so that you can automatically turn on your computer with the press of a button. Kinda the same way you already turn on your computer, but this is a much closer button that you don’t have to bend over for.
It also comes with a headphone and microphone connector and in two very pretty shades of black or silver. But you know, every gadget has a practical application, so I see this being well-used by those that are physically disabled and actually NEED something that will enable them to use their computer without hurting themselves, or without worrying about their own restricted movement. I also however see this being well used by people that are just plain lazy. Just me though.
