Dell hasn’t exactly earned a reputation for being a big computer player in terms of the gaming world, but they have offered the Alienware brand for their gaming consumers. This time around they have stepped it up a notch to endow the alienware line with a brand new processor that is said to offer unprecedented speed and performance with the Core i7. The end result? New gaming desktops known as the Alienware Area 51 X 58, Alienware Area 51 ALX X 58, and the XPS 730 x.
All of these systems are extremely dynamic and miles ahead of what you will find anywhere else, as the Intel Core i7 is superior at enhancing simultaneous processing capabilities. What this means for you as a gamer, is more intelligent AI, a boost in real-to-life gaming experiences, increased environmental interactivity, and improved physics overall. Casual gamers are not going to detect the difference in performance one way or another, but these new systems are built for the hard-core gamers that will notice the differences with delight. Both the Alienware versions will hold an outstanding 12 GB of triple channel memory, which, if you were curious, is a LOT.
All three models will feature the new Intel Quick Path Architecture that is geared to speed up your communication between system processor and system components, and make for faster load times between various game levels. All this without sacrificing background applications like Internet browsing or music downloads. Ah yes, the Intel Core i7 is the granddaddy of all processing systems, and it will cost you. Though the models have not been launched yet…keep an eye out…and if these sound like your cup of tea, you can probably expect to shell out somewhere in the $3500 mark. Hey, you get what you pay for though, don’t you?
