Oh yes, we do like our all in one gadgets, and since the market is getting so saturated with this that and the other toy, the all in one market is booming so that you can combine all of your necessary gadgets without having to lug a bunch of stuff around. And though the practicality behind a watch and cell phone combination may be a little questionable, with most cell phones today coming with an on screen clock display, still, the LG GD 910 Watch Phone is pretty cool to cart around. The LG-GD910 is a watch that is a 3G-enabled mobile phone. It features a 1.4-inch touchscreen, and is about 0.6 inches thick. So the watch phone is nice and light and not too cumbersome to strap to your wrist and you can talk on the phone while checking out the time and still look like James Bond all the while you’re doing it. But it’s not just cool, it offers you a bunch of handy features as well.

The Poken Will Change the Way You Use Social Networking

Today’s generation has with it the advantage of technology that will lead them to wonder the same things we once did. How on earth did the old fogies manage without these little gadgets? For us, we wondered about life before television, for today’s youth, how horrific must life have been before social networking? But social networking isn’t just for the youth anymore, and folks young and old are using it to connect with old mates, colleagues, and prospective business partners with the odd chum from third grade thrown in here and there. And with social networking sites popping up every day, it can be hard to keep track of the ones you want to, when you want to.

So along comes the Poken that will help keep things a little more organized for you. What exactly is Poken? Well, it is a key ring friendly USB device that will allow you to exchange important contact information in seconds flat. And pretty soon just about everyone that is involved with social networking will be carrying one or something just like it. It is kind of like a digital business card that you can keep on your key ring, and when you come across someone you want to exchange contact or social networking information with, you just need to pull out your Poken, and if they have one too, you can exchange immediately. RF technology is built right into the device, allowing for transferring details between Pokens, and so the next time that you log into your favourite Poken site, both of your profiles will be updated.

Ah yes, for the kid in all of us. It’s not just about Star Wars anymore. Space Invaders is one of those iconic items from our childhood that always leaves the warm and fuzzies. And now, you can enjoy those warm and fuzzies up close and personal with these new Space Invaders Headphones which are flying off the shelves as we speak. Show your love for this vintage icon circa 1978 while you are out and about listening to music or whatever it is that you like to listen to. The headphones come in two different color combinations, black and white, or pink and black and white. But even though they look kind of cool, they do not offer a spectacular sound, but enough to do the trick for you.

An Earth Friendly MP3 Player

In all honesty, this is not an attractive MP3 player but it is not being marketed for its prettiness, rather for its environmentally friendly factor. But yes it is a little bulky, and isn’t in the prettiest colors, in fact it doesn’t even look like an MP3 player, which may help you towards anti-theft protection. However, looks aside, the MP3 player quite obviously has one serious perk, it’s very earth friendly which is very chic in itself these days. To charge up the MP3 player you’ll have to wind it up and no batteries are required which is its key selling features. One minute of cranking it up equals out to fifteen to twenty minutes of music. But the wind up features offer you some additional perks as well. You could also utilize that charge to work the built-in flashlight or even use the mobile phone charger that’s also built into the little device.

Plan on spending time in the Great Outdoors this winter? Rather than lug around a bulky GPS device to help you navigate while hiking, biking, fishing, climbing or hunting, high-tech watchmaker Suunto has just unveiled the Suunto GPS X10 Watch which is being billed as the smallest and lightest wrist-mounted GPS unit on the market. Recently awarded a “Best of Adventure Gear” 2009 nod from National Geographic Adventure Magazine, this outdoor hands-free tool is compatible with mapping services such as Google Earth, where you can export your journey and view it with 3D satellite imagery, and National Geographic Topo, the latter of which also lets you download a predetermined route from a PC to the X10 via USB before setting out to your destination.

The GPS unit will show direction, altitude, speed, barometer pressure, remaining distance to either your destination, or to preselected locations, as well as distance traveled and estimated time of arrival. And, when it’s time to call it a day, its handy dandy Fine Home option will guide you back to your starting point, while the Track Back feature takes you back through each waypoint. The X10 can store up to 50 routes or 500 waypoints, and also features for your outdoor pleasure a stop watch, thermometer, and a digital compass. For outdoors types, you can pick this up at Suunto for about $600 Bucks not bad if you spend a lot of time outdoors.
