Today’s generation has with it the advantage of technology that will lead them to wonder the same things we once did. How on earth did the old fogies manage without these little gadgets? For us, we wondered about life before television, for today’s youth, how horrific must life have been before social networking? But social networking isn’t just for the youth anymore, and folks young and old are using it to connect with old mates, colleagues, and prospective business partners with the odd chum from third grade thrown in here and there. And with social networking sites popping up every day, it can be hard to keep track of the ones you want to, when you want to.

So along comes the Poken that will help keep things a little more organized for you. What exactly is Poken? Well, it is a key ring friendly USB device that will allow you to exchange important contact information in seconds flat. And pretty soon just about everyone that is involved with social networking will be carrying one or something just like it. It is kind of like a digital business card that you can keep on your key ring, and when you come across someone you want to exchange contact or social networking information with, you just need to pull out your Poken, and if they have one too, you can exchange immediately. RF technology is built right into the device, allowing for transferring details between Pokens, and so the next time that you log into your favourite Poken site, both of your profiles will be updated.

When you get home after you have made your contact, plug your Poken into your USB port, and you are all set. Each Poken can store as many as 64 contacts, and if you are getting close to maximum capacity, it will kindly alert you with an orange light. You can also log into the Poken site directly and manage your contacts alphabetically or chronologically. And it comes in a bunch of cute little critter froms like Alien, bee, panda, and other personalities, all for a very low cost of about $20 bucks. A handy device, that is affordable as well, so pick a few up for your fave contacts.
