Has your website traffic been hit hard this week? The Worldwide Google Panda update went out earlier this week on Monday April 11, 2011.
Many many sites have dropped in rankings for unknown reasons, even with unique content and good rankings.
One google employee stated however that “One thing I noticed - unrelated to your rankings and textual content - is that your site appears to be selling PageRank-passing links, which would be against our Webmaster Guidelines.”
He also “recommend using the rel=nofollow on all links that are paid or traded. It’s fine to have advertising on a site, but it’s important to us that this does not pass PageRank or affect search rankings.”
Hope this helps anyone having trouble since the latest Google Panda Update…
