Google Tutor uncovered another mybloglog exploit that allow anyone to own the unclaimed communities on MBL.
-
Sign up for MBL, it only takes a second. Use bogus info for this, you can even use a bogus email, MBL doesn’t confirm anything by email so it will work.
-
Run
this search at Google. This google dork will bring back all the profile pages of MBL accounts that have not been claimed by an author yet.
-
Surf to each profile and claim each blog as yours.
Google tutor has already claimed couple of famous mybloglog communities, including Matt Cutts Blog Community.
A user wrote in the comments that he took ownership of the flickr community and later changed the settings to his space on Flickr, so all users get transferred to his new community.
The best one i found is dogworld wo claimed few hundred communities as his own.
I wonder if there is any way for these blog authors to get their communities back if they ever want to integrate mybloglog.

MyBlogLog hack to trick users to join your MyBloglog Community.
1. I will leave you a message like this.

2. After Clicking the link you will get redirected to this page.

Some smart guys are already using this trick to fool others to join their community.
The guy who tried to trick me got 450+ members in his community, i wonder how many of them are genuine.
Try this link to Join Freakitude Technology Blog Community.
To solve the problem, i think there must be a confirmation option after clicking the Join This Community button or it should be session based.

Googlified blog demonstrates that using a form of cross scripting, it becomes easy to steal a GMail user’s contact list if they visit a certain type of website.
The only condition is you have to be logged in to GMail at the time of the attack.
See the demo yourself. Login to gmail and visit the webpage http://googlified.com.googlepages.com/contactlist.htm .

They successfully grabbed 98 contacts from my gmail contact list, including my secret flickr image upload address and some others. Thank god it was a demo and no emails were saved.

Psiphon is a censorship circumvention solution that allows users to access blocked sites in countries where the Internet is censored. Psiphon software which was released on December 1st, 2006 turns a regular home computer into a personal, encrypted server capable of retrieving and displaying web pages anywhere.
How it works ?
There are psiphon providers who install and administer a psiphon server (psiphonode) in an uncensored country, and psiphon users (psiphonites) who login and access the server from a country that censors the Internet.
If you want to access any blocked website in your country, all you should have is a friend in a country where there are no restrictions on Internet. Now, ask your friend to install Psiphon on his computer. After installing psiphon your friend will provide you with an ID and a password along with an URL. Then type in that URL in your browser, after which you will be prompted for an ID and password. Supply those fields with ID and password given by your friend. That’s it!! Now you can find a blue bar in your browser where you can type any blocked website address.
Read the Psiphon FAQ for more details. You can download Psiphon from here.
Thanks Ramesh
