Bidvertiser Review - CPC ad reviews - RPC Advertising - Per Click Revenue

Posted by admin in Monetize, ... | 04.13.2008 - 11:25 pm

Bidvertiser seems like a great concept, direct ads on your site. But the choices for ads through bidvertiser is limited. Of COURSE adsense works great, high click through yada yada… But why can’t someone who has say a car website, put ads up for men’s health or financial advise or whatever? All i’m saying is a whatever the site is, the person viewing the site is what’s important. Not exactly what the page is about. But again, a mix of ads helps, thats what is great about adsense, the ads change more often.

That’s whats limited with bidvertiser, the click-through is low, but the revenue per click is high. Over all the CPM rate seems pretty low. Adsense still kicks butt… But bidvertiser is a good alternative, especially in places like possibly on your home page (That way if a user exits your site right away at least you know your RPC is high…).

Another possible use is when CPM ads need defaults (fill), why not make money per click instead of sending traffic to stupid CPA ads?

After more use of the CPM networks in our Top 10 CPM networks (uh 8), We still rank them pretty close but have a few updates…

Asdaq Review - Fill down since christmas, but still “good”

Burst Network Review - Great for health and beauty, Mom’s network is good fill for CPM if you have a “MOM” site

Tribal - Not so great lately? You been feeling that?

Casale Media - Been good for popunders for us… What have you seen?

NEW
Gorilla Nation - They tout themselves as the world’s largest online ad sales rep firm, Seen some results from them but still waiting on more results. You have to have alot of impressions for them to represent you, at least thats what they say? But it seems like a great concept, why not rep mid-tail sites, they still make ton’s of money!

I really think GN has a great idea repping “medium” sites and direct selling them… Brand advertising for smaller sites is a smart idea

Best CPM Network - Top 10 CPM ad networks - Highest CPMs Program

Posted by admin in Monetize, Monetize, ... | 01.03.2008 - 4:23 pm

Here is our list based on over a year running 1,000,000s of impressions (not on this site, but we wish ;)
These are our thoughts based on networks we are part of. If you wondering about one we do not mention, we have not joined them yet.

1. Adsdaq - Been running for several months, filled 50% during holiday season , High CPM, Pick your CPM Rate, Run It first, then Right Media Second, works great! Good reporting, easy to use interface.
Adsdaq

2. Right Media - Direct Media Exchange - Been running for 6 months, Pretty High CPM, Good thing is you can set the CPM you get on other networks and they only fill if they beat the CPM you set. Great because they have many companies in there exchange network including (Xtend, Vizi Direct, Rydium, Revenue Science, Oridian, Directa Networks, Bannerconnect Networks, Active Response Group, Adtegrity, CPX Interactive, and Remix Media). They also have great reporting, and you can use them as a free ad server for any direct sales etc.
Direct Media Exchange

3. Tribal Fusion - Been running almost a year, high CPMs but hard to get into, Great pop-under CPMs, Ok Reporting
Tribal

4. Burst Media - Decent CPMs, Sometimes get direct advertisers, Good Reporting
Burst

5. Casale Media - Good Popunder rates, seems great for few months then CPMs went down. Don’t know if it was seasonal or what, but since they are later fill in our system probably is part of the reason.

6. Value Click Media - Decent Popunder rates, lot of fill, don’t like there reporting and slow interface.

7. Realtech Network - LOW Cpms, bad interface, ok for final fill
Realtech

8. Robert Sherman - Terrible Reporting, LOW CPMs, ok for fill, one good thing they prepay in $25 increments, although you never no how much you going to make because the reporting is so bad.
Robert Sherman

Oops only 8, well Again this is based on our own experience with ad networks we have used. We’ll try to get more detailed but wanted to get discussion going with others…

Online Marketing Tips - Advertise Online

Posted by admin in Monetize, Monetize, ... | 12.27.2007 - 2:32 pm

Marketing online is a dog-eat-dog world these days. Most Internet searchers are aware of Google’s AdWords program, they are the ads that appear on the right of the search results, under “Sponsored Links”. But what about all the other search engines? Are pay per click programs available there, too?

MSN.com, a search engine produced by Microsoft, offers pay per click under the name of adCenter. For a low start-up cost of $5 and a credit card, you can start bidding on ad placement based on the words users search for. The starting bid, as little as a nickel per click, is the maximum you are willing to pay for a prime-location placed ad. You can increase your maximum bid amount for certain audiences or keywords to help boost your chances of appearing at the top of the page when users fitting your target audience search for your keywords. Typically, the higher you bid, the higher your ad placement.

Microsoft adCenter offers a few tracking tools to advertisers. There is a free conversion tracker (so you can see how many clicks resulted in purchases, registrations or specific actions on your site), adTracker (reports the effectiveness of your clicks) and a reporting tool that allows you to see how much you are paying per click, among other data.
